Tips For Feeling Good In a Bikini This Summer

Summer is just around the corner and trips to the beach are a blink away.  Feeling confident about yourself is important so being prepared for this upcoming bikini season is something that will do you some good.

Many people know that they want to feel and look good but aren’t sure how to do it.  They can be left feeling frustrated by waiting until the last minute and not being satisfied with the way they feel.  Therefore, get started early by doing the following tricks to jumpstart your bikini bod today!

Start Eating Clean

Eating clean is a term that a lot of people have seen floating around the internet but they aren’t entirely sure of what it means.

What eating clean food means is eating things that are derived from a natural source with no added chemicals or preservatives.  When you eat foods that are easy to digest and pure, your body stores them in a better way and you ultimately end up consuming fewer calories because of it.

Not sure if what you’re eating is clean?  Check the ingredients and see if there are words that you can’t pronounce and you are most likely eating something with added chemicals which are certainly not clean.

Try doing some research online as to what foods are considered clean and you can start incorporating them into your next grocery shopping trip.

Exercise Regularly

Try to get in some sort of exercise several times a week which gets you out of breath with an elevated heart rate for at least 30 minutes.  When you reach this level of heart rate your body starts to burn fat and you will lose weight rapidly when repeated on a regular basis.

If you aren’t a fan of running there are plenty of other exercises which are just as effective.  You can try something like yoga, dance, or boxing.  Take a look at the different options offered by your local gym and you can see what works best for your body type.

Don’t Skimp On The Suit

If you buy a suit which isn’t form fitting or flattering on your body then it doesn’t matter how great your body is.  If you buy a cheap suit then chances are you can be a supermodel and it will still squeeze you in unfortunate places.

Make an effort to find a suit which is high quality and looks good on your body.  You may have to spend as much as $200 but when it comes to looking and feeling good about yourself this is worth it!

Get a Tan

The darker your skin is the less all of your dimples and imperfections will show on your thighs and stomach.  Try using a tanning lotion to get a nice bronze before you head to the beach.
